Chile Mine Collapse

SAN JOSE MINE, Chile. It has been an agonizing 69 days for 33 minors trapped under the Chilean earth. With the rescue moving at a remarkable speed, 19 of the 33 miners have already been rescued (READ MORE). Chileans erupted in cheers each time a tired, worn out miner was removed from the shaft. Following a 69 days filled with very little resources, a ton of nerves, anxiety and pressure, the miners were relieved to finally see the light of day and reconnect with the loved ones who were waiting anxiously to see them for days on end. They waited above ground fearing the worst but living on the petrol fumes of hope. Excited miners waited anxiously to be brought above ground; that is all the miners except 1!

Yonni Barrios, after being caught ‘creepin,’ has expressed vehement protest at the rescue attempt and maintains that it would be much safer for him to remain in the comfortable confines of the mine shaft. Juan Lopez, one of the trapped minors told the press that Yonni fears the wrath of his wife and is fearful of disappearing by her hand. He quoted Yonni as saying that a slow, painless death due to a lack of oxygen was a more humane way to go down than the impending doom and gloom that awaited him above ground. “Yonni said he is all set down there and we should send him some kind of correspondence before he considers coming up,” said a jaded looking Juan after just climbing out of the steel cage that rescued him.
Chilian Rescue Attempt Yonni was further quoted by Juan to have said,

“I did everything right. I had a decoy cell phone, I got my buddies to always provide alibis for me, I changed the girl’s name to Carlos in my phone and I even relayed all the emails and chat messages I sent her through servers in Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Iceland and Namibia. It was all going well till THIS!”

By “THIS” he is referring to this tragedy that united his mistress and his wife as they waited for the fruit of collaborative efforts by NASA, the families and the Chilean government that facilitated his rescue from the mine. This union caused his wife to consequently boycott the rescue attempt to avoid further confrontation with his mistress. (READ STORY)

“I told her not to pick the phone up if my wife called or pretend to be a store manikin if she ever saw her in public but I never told her what to do should I be trapped in a mine for 69 days. So really I do not blame her for coming.”

As the rescue attempts continue, we would like to send our thoughts and prayers for each miner that they each recover from this ordeal. As for Yonni, we at S.T.A.B recommend that he watch his back at all times, get the best alarm system he can find and never fall asleep again because there is nothing worse than having a Latino girl gunning for you!
