How Young is too Young? Ask a Legend.

I just started seeing a girl, she is kinda young. So I was thinking.....how young is too young.

Marcus, this is a question that troubles many men of various ages. There are all sorts of theories. The prevailing one being "half your age, plus 7"  but that is a somewhat limited view of age.

Assuming you are at least 21. The short answer is that if you have to ask this question then she is probably too young. But age aint nothing but a number ~ said the pedophile. It's true though, age aint nothing but a number, there is more to it. There is actual numerical age and then there is maturity.

With regard to actual age, if the girl is say 14 then she is numerically too young. Says who? Federal law. You will end up in jail, where they will no doubt rape you, and you will have to wear an ankle monitor and stay away from schools and children for the rest of your life. Not to mention, it's hard for a sex offender to get dates these days. You shouldn't be going for women that young, they have a quite bit of growing up to do mentally and physically. There is a power imbalance and you are taking advantage of the fact that she doesn't know any better yet. And it's just gross, she's a child for god's sake...

As for maturity, some 22 year old women have a mature outlook on life and know what they want whereas  some 45 year old women throw hissy fits and behave like spoilt 17 year olds. So in the case of the latter, the woman may be old numerically speaking but you can prepare yourself for an immature relationship where you will to break up and get back together 340 times a week. That's just how the immature ones roll.

So consider the full picture....Is she comfortably legal? Will her young age restrict you from doing basic things you like to do, like go out for drinks? Does she behave like a little spoiled brat? Is she at the stage  of her life where she values the same things in life as you do? These are all things to consider.. But keep away from Jail bate!
