OHH SNAP! Philip Rivers' Worst Day Ever and Jason Kelce Snaps the ball into his own butt (videos).
With 1:04 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Chiefs out of timeouts, all Rivers had to do was take a knee in the center of the field to set up Nick Novak for a game-winning 32-yard field goal. Simple right? Take a knee, set up 32 yard chip shot, fly back to San Diego, crack the champaign and call the strippers ~ Oh and take first place in the AFC West.
Unfortunately, the most unlikely thing, short of finding a pregnant man, happened. Rivers mishandled a routine snap and donated the ball to the Chiefs ultimately sending the game into overtime. An error fit only for a school boy according to former 49ers quarterback Steve Young.

The Chargers went on to lose the game 23-30 in overtime.....PHILIP RIVERS HAD THIS TO SAY...

Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce performed the opening act for Rivers' epic masterpiece. The center tried to snap the ball to quarterback Michael Vick, but only succeeded in snapping the ball into his own butt. The television crew could not contain themselves and the thud of the ball on Kelce's titanic rump sent seismic waves that could be felt as far west as Japan.
