Feeding or entertaining the antics of Baboons has caused a backlash of immense proportions as hundreds of  Baboons a have realized that a border post is basically an all you can eat...

Chaos has ensued on the Zimbabwe/Zambia border as troops of rogue baboon are wreaking havoc for travelers, destroying their possessions and raiding food supplies.The baboons are reportedly destroying travelers goods, slapping people on the face, snatching ladies handbags and searching vehicles for food supplies. The baboons have been tearing up sacks of maize trying to move through the border, which they can smell are on the trucks.

Authorities say the baboons are difficult to control especially as they have some human-like behavioral patterns. The bandits have been observed to use guile and skullduggerous tricks to raid supplies and evade capture.

Don Bonnlioni, head of a notorious baboon crime syndicate denies that the behavior of these renegade baboons is reflective of the baboon population in general. Boonlioni went on to blame white tourists for disobeying simple rules like "Don't feed the animals" hence resulting in the urbanizing the baboons in question.

Although Boonlioni claims to have no affiliation to the deviant baboons, he has stated that he is able to provide protection from them for a monthly fee which he did not disclose. "If my offer for protection is not accepted, who knows what these baboons can do. Perhaps they will continue to beat tourists, raid vehicles and maybe even hotels. Who can tell these things?"
