Brett Sigworth, Massachussetts Man Catches fire from Banana Boat Sunblock
Brett Sigworth shortly after BBQ'ing himself.
Brett Sigworth, Massachussetts, suffered second degree burns after being engulfed by flames when his sunscreen reacted with the heat from his BBQ.

Brett Sigworth sprayed on some Banana Boat sunscreen before heading over to his grill. Soon thereafter Sigworth burst into flames when he fired up his grill. Sigworth suffered second degree burns in areas where he applied the sunscreen, and is still brandishing the effects of the incident days after it occurred.

"I think if people were told this is flammable for two minutes on your skin, people wouldn't use it," said Sigworth.

Banana Boat issued a statement, related to the matter: "We are unaware of any prior incidents similar to what Brett has described, but because nothing is more important to us than the safety of our consumers, we are taking this matter very seriously."

In truth, no amount of spinning or PR work can help people be at ease with the fact that if you wear Banana Boat Sunscreen you could potentially become the main course in your own BBQ.

Sigworth has no plans to press charges, and just wanted to make people aware of the potential hazards that the aerosol based sunscreen can inflict. He has hired an attorney to look into the matter of making sure that a warning is put onto the product labels.

SADLY ALL THAT COMES TO MIND AFTER READING THIS IS NBA JAM......."OH BOY!!! HE'S ON FIRE...."
