Vocabulary: "Autopilot"

This is when a male retreats into a protective shell and shuts down basic bodily functions to avoid an onslaught of words from a female (compare with hypothermia). This is a subconscious self preservation mechanism that the male has evolved in the last 100 000 years.
Example:
Female: “So then she said the doctor couldn’t see me because I wasn’t first in line…isn’t that stupid?
Male: “Yes!”
Female: “Then I was like, you can’t tell me what do…not in a dress like that anyway…”
Male: “I agree!”
Female: Which reminds me, we need 17 table clothes from Costco…and 3000 paper plates…what do you think?
Male: “Yes perfect!”
Female: “So then she said the doctor couldn’t see me because I wasn’t first in line…isn’t that stupid?
Male: “Yes!”
Female: “Then I was like, you can’t tell me what do…not in a dress like that anyway…”
Male: “I agree!”

P.s: Note that there is an attempt to fool the female into thinking he is attentively listening.
(I'll probably get in trouble for this but I could not resist) I found a very funny advertisement. It is not even in english but I think I laughed so hard I fell off my chair and suffered a mild concussion. Check it out below ROFL!!!!
