Ryanair Angry Passengers
By The Webmaster.
100 irate passengers sat in a dark cabin without food or water for four hours Wednesday, refusing to leave their plane after it was diverted to Liege Airport in Belgium (READ REPORT). The Ryanair plane had left Fez, Morocco over 3 hours late and consequently was unable to land at Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris because the delay would have had the airline land in Paris after the airport had closed for the night. As a result the tired frustrated passengers were diverted to Belgium where they ultimately staged a mutiny of sorts and refused to exit the plane until 330am in the morning after having have arrived at 1130pm the previous day.

The passengers sat in the dark cabin for about four hours with no basic amenities while authorities attempted to negotiate with them and have them exit the airline and be transported to their final location by bus. Stuff-about.com writer Africanlegend was reported to be on the airline en route to Paris to receive treatment for his acute Seasonal Depression Disorder. Africanlegend was reported to have been on edge after racking up over 300 dollars of baggage fees and airport security didn't improve matters after targeting him for a random search for the 9th time in his last 11 visits to the airport. After the 3 hour delay and the subsequent re-route to Belgium, the Zambian born writer had had enough and rallied the passengers in the four hour stand off. “Its just wrong, this is essentially an elaborate kidnapping,” explained an irate Africanlegend as he was being ushered off in police custody after allegedly resisting arrest.

No one was badly hurt in the incident, but 100 airline travellers were left highly annoyed, frustrated and pissed off but then again that is the status quo these days.
