Smiley and happy, presumably sometime before being run over.
In case you need one more reason to mandate that after 70 years of age people should be comprehensively retested for their drivers license and after 80 years of age we should consider taking it away from them, look no further that the most recent incident with Reese Witherspoon.
Actress Reese Witherspoon was recovering at home after being struck by a car Wednesday morning while jogging in Santa Monica, authorities said. Witherspoon suffered minor injuries in the accident, officials said. She was hit while jogging west on Georgina Avenue near 20th Street, the Santa Monica Police Department said. She was taken by an ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. Witherspoon was crossing the street and the 84 year old driver failed to stop in time. The driver was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a
crosswalk.
An approximation of Reese Witherspoon after being run over. Computer models project that she was likely "upset" or "pissed off."
Why do I care? The answer is I don't really, in fact I find it mildly entertaining and I'm bored. Nothing happened to Witherspoon she was just clobbered by an old person on the road. I may even be wrong to acrimoniously impart total blame on the 84 year old by assuming Witherspoon's actions did not merit a flattening. If she just jumped out from behind a mailbox on the road, then of course it's understandable that the driver attempted to make a pancake with her. If it is the classic old person moving and reacting 4000 times slower than the national average maybe we should look the idea that at some stage you might be too old to drive. Look on the bright side. It is very unlikely the driver was texting and driving, perhaps sending a telegram and driving but that just conjecture at this moment.....
