A Truthful 911, Holocaust, Slavery Montage.....(Pic)
It just kind of works out this way doesn't it? The blacks just can't get over the past.
All of the aforementioned events are tragic but the aftermath and social conditions created by the one event (slavery) are often view as manifestations of a people that simply cannot "get over" events that happened in their past. However, the other tragedies are constantly referenced and you can even lose a job or never work in Hollywood again if you mention "Jew" and "holocaust" in the wrong tone of voice....see: Gibson, Mel.
.....and what is the difference really? People suffered and there was loss of life in each instance.
History often shapes and defines people and some things are just not easily buried under rug even from generation to generation. Either way, a double standard it not acceptable. Either we get over ALL of it and stop bringing it up or we revere ALL of it and make sure generations to come learn from the mistakes of our biased, racist, intolerant fore-fathers.
Doesn't matter where you are from, you are not special, a tragedy is a tragedy and all life should be respected.
