South African Soccer Team Mamelodi Sundowns beats Powerlines FC 24-0 in Jaw-Dropping Result (Highlights/All Goals)!!
South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns set a new South African scoring record on Sunday afternoon after beating Powerlines FC 24-0 in a Nedbank Cup last 32 match.
In what can be described as a David vs Goliath battle, Mamelodi Sundowns, known to local supporters as the "Brazillians" pulled the plug on Powerlines FC's Nedbank Cup challenge by walloping them 24-0.
Powerlines FC, power-less to stop Sundowns, short-circuited conceding 24 goals and breaking a record previously held by Amazulu who beat Bizana Lucky Stars 19-0 36 years ago when people drank a 12 pack before games.
Powerlines FC fans were left in the dark as to what exactly caused their team to concede approximately a goal every 3.75 minutes. The standing hypothesis is that the goalkeeper must be blind and the 10 on-field players vertically challenged and hearing impaired (deaf midgets).
There is no point in looking at match report and a more practical question is who didn't score but if you are in the mood to read one, you can here. The rest of us will be content to laugh our butts off.
