These texters seem younger which does not make the action inexcusable but just raises to light a condition that seems to be an analogy of the modern world. People sit behind electronic devices and simply lack person skills or the ability to handle interactions with real people.
People are so obsessed with texting and so glued to their phones that they expect people to respond immediately and if a response is not forthcoming, display deep insecurities and socially deviant behavior. I for one believe when socializing with real people, put your phone away, give them your full attention and check it at regular but reasonable intervals ~ everybody wins.
My question is: Is this where things are headed or are these simply out-liers, highlighted by mass media's over reaching arm and presented to us as the norm rather than the exception?
I for one would sure like to hope women aren't THIS crazy!
