Exclusive: Ricky Martin Recounts the first time he realized he was Gay!

In an exclusive interview with Africanlegend (Gay Recognition Specialist), Ricky Martin recounted the heartwarming story of the first time he realized he was gay. The touching, heart warming account caused huge tears to roll down the cheeks of the prize winning African journalist.



Africanlegend: So tell us about the instant you came to realize that you were indeed gay.

Ricky Martin: It happened a long time ago. I can barely remember. I feel like I was in a swimming pool or some area surrounded by water. Then there was a piercing bright light, brighter than anything I’ve ever experienced. And I saw a woman next to me pulling and tugging on my head.. The room was full of people with green or blue gowns. I can’t really remember exactly.

Africanlegend: Did you feel afraid?

Ricky Martin: No not at first. the woman holding me was gentle. Then a man came in and violently flipped me upside down and spanked me on my bottom. All I could do was cry! I think that’s the first time I came to tears. I was confused because everything seemed upside down.

Africanlegend: Then what happened?

Ricky Martin: All of a sudden I was drinking milk. Lots of it. I couldn’t stop. It felt like the first time I had ever drank milk. Then there were all these people walking in with strange toys that made noises and they started making stupid faces and sounds.

Africanlegend: What is the thing about this experience that sticks in your mind?

Ricky Martin: What ever device I was drinking milk from felt good and soothing, but I think the thing I enjoyed the most was when the man slapped me on the buttocks. If I had to pick a moment when I realized that I was gay, I’d have to say that was it.
