In last night's "State of the Union" Address, members of the The Republican Party(GOP) and the Democratic Party decided to break from their conventional, partisan seating arrangements. In this, the first mixed Address party members from different parties sat next to one another for the first time in a long time. Below is an illustartion of the status quo.

Following the mixed seating arraignment's success at the State of the Union speech, congress has chosen to continue the spirit of bipartisanship by implementing a strategy to mix seating every time congress convenes. In future, before each member is seated, they will play one round of Musical Chairs. The left out representative will be forced to stand for the duration of the session.

This political strategy (musicle chairs) is projected to cost the tax payers $15-20 a year. Included in the costs will be a paper hat saying "I'm a loser with no Seat" for the standing representative and various costs associated with acquiring music from the Apple I-Store. "I am anxious to give this a try," said an enthusiastic John Boehner who promised the America people he'd do the responsible thing and cut federal funding for after school programs to make up the costs associated with playing Musical Chairs.

A bipartisan committee came up with shortlist of possible songs to use.

Republican choices Democrat choices.
Oop I did it again ~ Britney Spears Macarena ~ Los Del Rio
Pretty Boy Swagger ~ Soulja Boy Cotton Eye Joe ~ Rednex
California Gurls ~ Katy Perry ft Snoop Dog. Sweet Home Alabama ~ Lynyrd Skynyrd
You can do it (put your ass into it) ~ Ice Cube Eminem ~ My Name is.
Got ya all in check ~ Buster Rhymes Poor some sugar on me ~ Def Leppard

While the democrats failed to find a unified voice in their chosen songs, it was clear that the Republicans picked music that cried out, in one big unified voice, that they were ready to Boogy for Bipartisanship.
