March Madness Final 4 predictions: If I do it this late maybe I'll be good at it!

There is a reason why you never hear me even mentioning March Madness. The reason being that I find that I am remarkably poor at predicting who is going to win. In fact, my bracket blew up into million of pieces of shrapnel about 2 weeks ago. It looked like I made my predictions after consuming a power blend of Hallucinogens and Barbiturates, topped off with a few shots of Vodka.
Soccer and Football are a different story. I managed to predict the winners of the European Champions League and Super Bowl very early in the seasons and that The Netherlands, who eventually finished runners up, would win the World Cup. Basket ball not so. The only team I had correctly in the Final 4 was UConn, proving for the 4th year running that if it's a matter of making bball picks for the purpose of sports betting, you'd win a lot of money if you picked the opposite teams to those I pick.
In the interests of leaving the tournament with some kind of confidence in my sports punditry, let me take a crack at predicting the winner for the remainder of the tournament, knowing full well the the odds are highly in favor of me not totally sucking and you can bet on that...

Butler over VCU
I feel as if in the latter rounds of competitions Cinderalla stories often come to an end and the biggest fall the first. Arguably, VCU is the bigger Cinderella story of the two so the pressure will finally tell.
Kentucky vs UConn
This will be a tight game. UConn won the last time the two teams played (I think) so I expect Kentucky to be hungrier and more pumped up for this one. Plus, I have a friend named Pat Brend that is born and raised in Connecticut and it is way more fun when he is miserable, so I have to hope to maximise that.
Kentucky over Butler
If I'm not mistaken Kentucky are player for player superior and at the end of the day in big games it will come down to the quality of your players.
So there it is but remember if you are going to make a bet today, make sure you pick the opposite of what I have chosen!
