X-MEN: FIRST CLASS: SPOILER ALERT!
Darwin X-Men First Class, Black dude dies
Darwin: X-Men First Class...disposed of by the white director with extreme prejudice. As a black man I am offended!
By Africanlegend.
You just came from watching X-Men: First Class. You enjoyed it and thought it was a welcome reboot after X-Men III: Last Stand where the idiot director killed all your favorite characters and obviously had something better to do than come up with a decent ending. You and your co-workers are really exited about having had watching it.

As you walk into the office Brian, the office's designated angry black dude approaches you. It's never a question as to whether or not he is angry but rather what his is angry about. After expressing how much you enjoyed X-Men: First Class, he adds that he did not enjoy and that as a black man he was actually offended. He continues that he was offended by the fact that there were only two black characters in the cast one, Angel, a stripper and the other, named Darwin, who was basically the only mutant who died and in quite a brutal, sensational manner. He begins a tirade about how racist the movie was and the portrayal of black people in mainstream movies etc. Within 5 minutes all the white people are overcome by white guilt and feel awkward about enjoying the movie.

Black Power

Why can't we survive at least 30 minutes??

Why the person needs to go:
This kind of person always sees the world in terms of racial delineations and is obsessed by them making them biggest racist of them all. in any event, How come the black guy always dies is a bit a cliche now. The black dude dies most of the time, I am used to it. In fact LL Cool J's failure to perish in Deep Blue and Ice Cube's failure to be eaten in Anaconda were both major let downs. Most people don't even pay attention to what race dies when and how until somebody points it out to them. It makes no sense to encourage and environment where people think like that.

The sad fact is, Black people are portrayed much worse in black-made films. When black people finally have the opportunity to create pictures that represent black people, three quarters of them are about, barbeques, weed, gang bangers and riddled with extremely loud, obnoxious Chris Tucker-like characters and aggressive, unapproachable black sisters.

Tyler Perry has made a career out of exploiting these stereotypes e.g Madea Goes To Jail? An old, fat, black woman going to jail? Are kidding me? Nobody is offended by that? So I say, until the self-portrayal of black people improves we need to stop getting offended by black dudes dying, fairly quickly and brutally, in mainstream movies. So Mr white director, please continue killing us. The only thing I ask is the you make it gripping, memorable and entertaining, as was the case in X-Men: First Class!
In Theaters, making fools of black people with no apparent protest....

How to Deal with this person.
Explain that the black character's death was your favorite part of the movie and that if he'd have survived, the movie would have been no different than Friday or Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins . Follow that by suggesting more gruesome additions to further sensationalize the manner in which the black character was exterminated, like adding an extra explosion after the fact or having the his already dead carcass eaten by a pack of wild animals. The basic idea is not to take such people seriously or you end up enabling them.
