Casey Anthony Acquitted of Murder (video of the Verdict)!

Verdict:
A Florida jury has found Casey Anthony not guilty of murder, aggravated manslaughter of a child and aggravated child abuse associated with the death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony.

The jury of 7 women and 5 men in Orlando did find the 25-year-old Anthony guilty of giving false information to a law enforcement in connection with the case. The jurors returned the verdict after more than 10 hours of deliberation after hearing over 33 hours of testimony.

I'm not quite sure how failing to report your child missing for 31 days and eventually finding out they died is not in the very least a child neglect or abuse charge. Basically, Anthony has been cleared of any responsibility for the incident except for lying to law enforcement about her child's whereabouts. I'm a little confused but then again what do I know?
