Breast Implants Save Canadian Woman's Life in Shooting!

Eileen Likeness, of Alberta, Canada, was peacefully driving with her former boyfriend, Fernando Chora in 2006. After an altercation of some sort, Likeness saw it fit to expel Chora from her car and deposit him on the side of the road. The aggrieved boyfriend walked about a dozen paces away from the car, turned around, took his gun out and fired several bullets at Likeness from his 9mm Beretta.

Likeness, shocked by the spray of malcontent, jumped out of her car and ran for a nearby restaurant to seek shelter from her raging boyfriend, relatively unscathed. Likeness explained that a bullet entered her right breast, brushed her chest plate and exited her left breast before it nicked her left forearm, crediting the implants with her survival.

“My implants took the brunt of the force,” she said at Chora’s trial. “They were gone.”

Fernando (Frank) Chora’s defense lawyer insisted that his client discharged his 9mm Beretta upon his  ex-girlfriend unintentionally. Chora is not helped by the fact that following the incident he was connected to the armed robbery of an elderly couple and now he also faces two firearm charges related to that incident.

“I had to wait some time,..but yes, I had some put back in,” Likeness explained, while conceding that not only was she bigger-breasted with them but also was apparently safer.

Likeness’ claim isn’t the first report of breast implants protecting victims this year. In late January, WESH Orlando reported that a Florida woman’s cosmetic additions saved her life when she was stabbed by her ex-fiancé’s new girlfriend.
